In Pursuit of Balance: How to Catch Up with Your Life and Find Harmony

Embracing the chaotic dance of life, from jet-setting across the globe to savoring a simple ice cream cone, I find myself stumbling through this juggling act with the grace of a one-legged flamingo on a unicycle. Yet, somehow, I manage to keep all the balls in the air!

Gratitude Galore

Oh, the adventures I've had, from exploring the rugged beauty of American Samoa to chasing waterfalls in Iceland! I'm planning a separate post to include Iceland and only Iceland! Each trip, each moment shared with loved ones, fills my heart with more joy than a puppy discovering its tail for the first time. I'm so grateful for every experience, every laugh, every tattoo we might get inspired by.

Living the Dream

Running a business with my partner in crime, Joel, is a rollercoaster of excitement and occasional "discussions" about whose turn it is to book the hotel. But hey, we make it work, just like we make matching tattoos work – with love and a touch of craziness! Our team of rockstar employees keeps us afloat, and I couldn't be more thankful for their dedication and knowledge.

Always Say Yes to Adventures

If there's one piece of advice I'd give, it's this: Say YES to every travel opportunity that knocks on your door! Life is too short to stay in your comfort zone. Step out, explore, taste the unknown (even if it's fermented shark – trust me, it's an experience!). Let the world surprise you, and you'll find yourself living a dream life you never thought possible.

The top picture below is of our friends in Hawaii, Jeff (between Eric and I) and Verna in the black and green dress. I used to baby sit their son when I was in high school!

This is me buzzing with excitement for what lies ahead in American Samoa—probably a lot of coconuts and maybe a friendly gecko or two. Meanwhile, in Hawaii, we were treated to some stunning views of Waikiki Beach, where the sand is so soft it feels like walking on powdered sugar (just don't try to eat it). One night, we even witnessed a drone show from our balcony. Those drones were spelling out HONOLULU in the sky, and I was just relieved they didn't spell out "HELP" or "LOW BATTERY." What a sight!

This is the steep (terrifying for me) hike that takes us to this beautiful isolated beach with this view!

More views at the end of that crazy trail and some cool churches in American Samoa. That's also Joel and I after completing all 63 US National Parks and getting our certificate of completion!

I discovered that Milford Sound in New Zealand was a place I definitely wanted to visit way back when Instagram started and I saw the amazing pictures of it. Fast forward to August of this year when I actually got to go there and these few images will show you why it's been on my bucket list for so long! We also discovered that there is another Sound called Doubtful Sound that is almost more amazing. That Sound is much harder to get to but that didn't stop us, we went there too. There was lots of rain and a tremendous amount of waterfalls. I would easily do this trip to NZ all over again, who's in?

Thank you for sticking with me on this rollercoaster of a journey and for always reading my blog posts, even if they show up as often as a solar eclipse. You're the real MVP!
